Satchel is a Brooklyn-based director, writer, and creative. Of German and African-American descent, Satchel grew up right outside of Philadelphia, watching her mother perform at the historically black Freedom Theater. Ever since then, Satchel was interested in exploring the daily intricacies of life through art. She immersed herself in the arts scene from as early as elementary school, writing and directing plays for her classmates.
Now, after earning a B.A in Film at Vassar College, Satchel continues her passion to uplift diverse voices through storytelling. She has worked on films, music videos, and even short form content for social media. Some of her latest work includes John Roseboro’s music video for “The Charm” and upcoming short film “Crow’s Feet.”
